2018 Call for Entries "Exposing the BEST in Concrete" Project Awards

         

The Arizona Chapter ACI is pleased to announce its 2018 "Exposing the BEST in Concrete" Awards program that honors the visions of some of the most creative projects the concrete industry has to offer in our region.  Concrete projects of all types are eligible to receive an award in this competition.  Entries will be juried by an independent panel of industry professionals.  We will have an "Overall Excellence Award" selected and this project will move forward into the International competition to be held at Fall Convention 2018. Award dinner to be held at Talking Stick Resort/Casino on June 8th, 2018.  We have a block of rooms reserved at the hotel, so make your reservations early if you plan to attend.  

Eligibility:

Projects must be completed between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2017.  Project must be in the State of Arizona.  Categories to include:

  • Mid to High-Rise Buildings
  • Infrastructure
  • Repair and Restoration
  • Decorative Concrete 
  • Structural Innovation
  • Public Works
  • Tilt Up
  • Transportation

Judging Criteria:  Overall judging will include design, workmanship, creativity, functionality, technical innovation and problem solving.  ACI encourages and supports the jury's discretion in its choice of projects and the professionalism and expertise of the individual jurors.

Please register to receive the award submittal information.  We will electronically send this to you once you sign up.  Please note that ALL criteria needs to be met for project to be approved to entry into the competition.  WINNERS WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED AHEAD OF TIME!
