  • For ADOT personnel registering using an ADOT purchase order number
  • An individual member, or an employee of a corporate member of the Arizona Chapter of ACI (an employee must be registered by a company representative who has a log in for this site)

ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician Certification

This is a two day program that includes a 2 to 4 hour review session on Friday afternoon and the written and performance exams on Saturday morning. The package price includes the review, the exams, all certification fees and the ACI workbook for this program (CP-19).

A Concrete Strength Testing Technician is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of four basic laboratory procedures related to the determination of concrete compressive and flexural strength.
Scope and Knowledge

The program requires a working knowledge of the following ASTM practices and test methods:

  • C617 - Capping Cylindrical Concrete Specimens
  • C1231/C1231M - Unbonded Caps for Concrete Cylinders
  • C39/C39M - Compressive Strength of Cylindrical Concrete Specimens
  • C78 - Flexural Strength of Concrete

ACI Certification programs are ADA compliant.
