2016 Call for Entries
"Exposing the BEST in Concrete"

 

The Arizona Chapter ACI and ICRI are pleased to announce its 2016 Exposing the BEST in Concrete Construction Awards program that honors the visions of some of the most creative projects the concrete industry has to offer in our region.  Concrete projects of all types are eligible to receive an award in this competition.  Entries will be juried by an independent panel of industry professionals.  This year we will have an "Overall Excellence Award" selected.  This project will move forward into the International competition to be held at Fall Convention 2017. Award dinner to be held at Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino on May 6th, 2016.  Be sure to call and make your hotel reservations and mention the AZ ACI group deal at $149 per night.  This Hotel always sells out for the weekend!

Eligibility:

Projects must be completed between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2015.  Project must be in the State of Arizona. 

Categories:  Repair or Restoration, Public Works, Flatwork, Decorative, Structural Design Innovation, Mid to High Rise. 

Judging Criteria:  Overall judging will include design, workmanship, creativity, functionality, technical innovation and problem solving.  ACI encourages and supports the jury's discretion in its choice of projects and the professionalism and expertise of the individual jurors.
