ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector Certification (26 Jun 2012)

This is a four day program that includes three days of classroom review on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; followed by the written and plan reading exams on Friday. The package price includes the review, the exams, all certification fees and the ACI technical resource materials for this program (CP-21). The CP-21 pack is an extensive collection of ACI, CRSI and ASTM manuals and documents that would cost over $1000 if purchased separately.

It is important to note that the written exam is "open book" and the CP-21 pack documents are the only materials permitted to be used during this testing session. If you have already purchased these materials prior to registration, you can delete them from the registration fee, but you must bring the CP-21 to the first day of class or you will not be permitted to continue in the session (and will be required to pay a rescheduling fee). Enter registration code DELETECP21 when registering to sign up without receiving this material.

Register on-line here by clicking on the "Register" button at the bottom left side of this page.

A Concrete Construction Special Inspector is a person qualified to inspect and record the results of concrete construction inspection based on codes and job specifications. The program covers inspection during preplacement, placement, and post-placement operations.

An Associate Concrete Construction Special Inspector is a person who is knowledgeable about inspection procedures for concrete construction, including preplacement, placement, and post-placement operations; but does not have the experience required to qualify as an ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector.

ACI International Convention - AZACI Offices Closed (21 Oct 2012)

About the ACI Convention

ACI conventions are dedicated to improving the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of concrete structures. Conventions provide a forum for networking and education and the opportunity to provide input on concrete industry codes, specifications, and guides.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THIS CONVENTION

ACI conducts two conventions each year: one in the spring and one in the fall. Sites of the ACI conventions vary throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico and are chosen to give as many members as possible an opportunity to attend.

At each of these conventions, committees meet to develop the standards, reports, and other documents necessary to keep abreast of the ever-changing world of concrete technology. Committee meetings are open to all registered convention participants to attend.

Approximately 35 sessions with over 200 speakers allow attendees to learn the latest in concrete technology and practices.

Additionally, ACI conventions offer numerous forums to network and connect with some of the most well-informed individuals in the concrete industry. Expect to meet with engineers, architects, contractors, educators, manufacturers, and material representatives from all over the world.
